Orientation student volunteers brought joy, energy, and support to the new faces on campus everywhere they went this weekend.
Take Flight, an early orientation program for first generation students, took off. It’s now part of the wider Orientation program, making for a fully integrated experience.
University Chaplain and Vice President of Ministry and Mission Father Aquinas Guilbeau, O.P., shared how faith is at the forefront of campus life during the main Orientation session.
Parents lay hands on their children beginning their college journey during the Blessing of Sons and Daughters upon the conclusion of Mass that marks the end of Orientation. The liturgy was celebrated Friday, August 28, the feast day of St. Augustine of Hippo.
